Bird imitates boy at Huntington Beach

at the beach

Bird imitates a boy playing at Huntington Beach.

While taking a photo of this bird during low tide, trying to capture it’s reflection on the receding water, I noticed the bottom portion of a boy on the top of my camera frame. Quickly I recomposed the shot, made sure he was in frame and click.

I took several pictures that day, it wasn’t until later that I noticed the right leg placement of the bird and the boy. Both had their right leg lifted, obviously taking a step. My luck, the moment I clicked the shutter, I captured both taking the same step, plus I still managed to get the reflection of the bird on the receding water!

Seems luck was on my side, perhaps I should buy a lottery ticket. 🙂
