Old Sears building on Soto & Olympic in East Los Angeles
Most people pass this building everyday on their way to work and forget it’s history. Built in 1927 for their mail order department, it stands tall as a gateway into East Los Angeles. Sears used it until 1992, when it was sold and now sits vacant (although there’s still a Sears on the ground floor). Some locals say it’s haunted, but what old building isn’t! 😉
